How I work

“Therapy that goes deeper”

You may already be pretty good at analyzing yourself. You can explain why you feel the way you do, recognize your patterns, and talk yourself through things logically, yet you find yourself stuck in the same places.

That’s usually where our work starts.

I’m interested in what’s underneath: the patterns you keep repeating, the relationships that shaped you, the things you’ve learned to expect from yourself and other people, and the parts of your experience that don’t always make perfect sense on the surface.

You don’t need to come in with a perfectly defined goal. We can start with what’s happening now and follow what feels important. I’ll listen closely, ask questions, make connections, offer perspective, and point out things I notice along the way.

My style is conversational and engaged. I’m not a therapist who sits quietly while you do all the talking, and I’m not going to give you a worksheet for every problem. I want our sessions to feel thoughtful, natural, and genuinely useful.

Over time, I get to know the bigger picture: your history, your relationships, your patterns, your way of seeing things. You don’t have to spend every session catching me up or explaining yourself from scratch.

The goal isn’t to turn you into a different person. It’s to understand yourself more clearly, loosen the grip of patterns that no longer work for you, and feel more like yourself in your own life.
