Cosmetic Surgery Evaluations

A one-time evaluation to assess readiness for elective cosmetic procedures.

Why this matters

Cosmetic procedures can have a meaningful psychological impact.

Psychological evaluations ensure:

  • expectations are realistic
  • decisions are intentional and planned
  • potential risk factors are identified ahead of time

What we look at

  1. your reasons for seeking the procedure
  2. what you expect to change afterward
  3. how this concern is affecting your day-to-day life
  4. patterns related to body image or self-perception
  5. overall readiness to proceed

What to expect

Before the evaluation
You’ll complete a brief set of questionnaires to help guide the conversation.

Evaluation appointment
We’ll meet for a focused, one-time conversation (60–75 minutes).

After the evaluation
You and/or your surgeon will receive a written summary with a clear recommendation.

A quick note: This is not a pass or fail process.

The goal is to step back, look more closely at the decision, and make sure you’re moving forward at the right time.

The goal

Mimize post-operative psychological distress

Enhance perceived outcome

Inflate confidence around decision
